Free Flow Yoga, Breathwork & Meditation for Stress Support in Horsemanship

This integrated course is designed for anyone who works with or cares for horses—owners, riders, handlers, trainers, and equestrian professionals. Horses are highly attuned to human emotional states, and the way we manage our own stress and internal balance directly influences how they respond to us.

Free Flow Yoga, Breathwork and Meditation offer a practical, embodied pathway to reducing stress, improving emotional regulation, and strengthening the connection between horse and human. Through gentle movement, mindful awareness, and guided breathing practices, participants learn to soften physical tension, regulate their nervous system, and cultivate a calm, centred presence that horses naturally trust.

This approach supports

  • Stress reduction through mindful movement
  • Improved body awareness for clearer communication
  • Emotional steadiness that helps horses feel safe
  • Breath awareness as a subtle communication tool
  • Greater focus and clarity
  • A calmer internal landscape for both horse and human

Whether working from the ground, riding, competing, or simply spending time with your horse, this practice supports a calmer, more connected way of being that benefits both partners.

The Rainbow Pathway - A personal development and exploration journey

Through guided reflection, embodied practices, and experiential learning, participants develop greater self‑awareness, emotional clarity, and relational presence. The Rainbow Pathway helps you understand your internal landscape—your patterns, strengths, sensitivities, and intuitive knowing—and how these influence your interactions with horses and people.

Ideal for those seeking

  • Deeper self‑connection
  • Emotional and relational balance
  • Clearer communication
  • A more authentic relationship with horses
  • Personal growth through embodied exploration

This pathway offers a safe, supportive space to explore your inner world while strengthening your connection with the outer one—human, equine, and environmental.

Therapeutic Touch (TT) Workshop / Practitioners Course

Therapeutic Touch is a bio‑energetic healing process involving subtle interactions intended to support health and healing. It is more than physical touch; it is a mindful, intentional set of skills that can be integrated into everyday practice by healthcare professionals, equine practitioners, and animal therapists.

Karen has developed Therapeutic Touch specifically for animals and shares this work with all who wish to learn. TT offers a gentle, grounded way of supporting wellbeing through presence, attunement, and energetic awareness.

Introduction to Therapeutic Touch Workshop

This course provides a powerful foundation for anyone working in a therapeutic, clinical, or supportive role. TT enhances sensitivity, presence, and intuitive awareness—skills that deepen and strengthen all forms of therapy and care.

Particularly valuable for:

  • Complementary therapists
  • Veterinary professionals
  • Equine practitioners
  • Yoga teachers
  • Physiotherapists
  • Bodyworkers
  • Somatic & trauma‑informed practitioners

Therapeutic Touch helps practitioners refine their ability to perceive subtle shifts in the human or equine system, regulate their own presence, and create a calm, coherent field that supports healing. Many describe TT as a transformative addition to their professional toolkit—one that enriches their existing modalities and elevates the quality of their therapeutic relationships.

Free Flow Yoga for Horsemanship

This unique horsemanship yoga is aimed at people who want to build or improve their connection with horses as well as developing an understanding of the role that our bodies and minds play in all our actions in life.

Through the physical practice of certain yoga postures, we learn how to relax and become more aware of our bodies and how we move them. As horses are masters at reading body language, being more attuned with our own bodies will greatly improve communication with them, whether we are on the ground or in the saddle.

In these situations, the confidence, calm and emotional balance developed through yoga and mindfulness practice makes all the difference, and through Free Flow Yoga you will gain a strong sense of balance, calmness, peace and alignment physically and emotionally in all that you do.

Breathwork for Horsemanship

The practice of breathwork helps us become more aware of our breathing and learning how to use it as another communication tools with the horses. Yogic breathing also increases concentration, and with better focus, communication with the horses becomes clearer and easier and more mindfully aware.

As horses are acutely aware of the emotional state of their handler or rider, being aware and in control of our emotions is essential to build a relationship of trust with them in order to ride, handle or compete the horses at any level.

You will learn to practice a more peaceful and calm way of being in the world that will greatly benefit the relationship that you have with all animals.
